Pizza Scone

  • All-purpose Flour 280.0 g
  • BEST FOODS Baking Powder Double Acting Formula 1 kg 14.0 g
  • Sugar 70.0 g
  • Granulated salt 1.0 g
  • Unsalted Butter 130.0 g
  • Evaporated Milk 70.0 g
  • KNORR SELECTIONS Pizza Sauce 1 kg 100.0 g
  • Egg 1.0 g
  • Bacon, fried 120.0 g
  • Parmesan Cheese 30.0 g
  • Mozzarella Cheese 50.0 g
  1. Pizza Scone

    • Pre-heat oven to 190C.
    • Sift together all-purpose flour and BEST FOODS Baking Powder Double Acting Formula. Add sugar and granulated salt into mixing bowl.
    • Cut cold unsalted butter into pieces and add into the dry mix. Beat with flat beater until look like fine crumbs.
    • Add egg, milk and KNORR SELECTIONS Pizza Sauce into the dry ingredient then add fried bacon and Parmesan cheese. Roll out into about 1/2-inch-thick sheet.
    • Refrigerate the dough for at least 30 minutes.
    • Press a round mould into flour and use the mould to press on the scone. Put silicone mat or parchment paper on baking tray and put the scone in the tray.
    • Mix egg yolk and evaporated milk together. Thinly coat the mixture on scones before baking.
    • Bake for 10-12 minutes. Serve warm with KNORR SELECTIONS Pizza Sauce and BEST FOODS Sweet Bakery Mayonnaise.
