Stir-Fried Shrimp with Chilli and Garlic

  • Banana Shrimp, shell kept on, cut in half, black vein removed 500.0 g
  • KNORR SELECTIONS Batter Mix 500 g 500.0 g
  • Vegetable Oil (for deep frying) 1.0 l
  • Garlic, minced 20.0 g
  • Coriander Root, minced 4.0 g
  • Red Chilli, minced 20.0 g
  • Red Finger Chilli, minced 20.0 g
  • Yellow Finger Chilli, minced 20.0 g
  • Green Finger Chilli, minced 20.0 g
  • Pickled Garlic, minced 20.0 g
  • Vegetable Oil (for stir-frying) 8.0 tbsp
  • KNORR Intense Meaty Essence 1 kg 8.0 tsp
  • Sugar 20.0 g
  • Stock 180.0 ml
  • Garlic, stir-fried 10.0 g
  • Coriander Leaves
  1. Stir-Fried Shrimp with Chilli and Garlic

    • Mix shrimp with KNORR SELECTIONS Batter Mix and slightly tap the excess out. Then deep fry coated shrimp. When done, drain fried shrimp on the strainer to remove excess oil.
    • Stir-fry minced garlic, minced coriander root, minced red chilli, minced spur pepper all 3 colours and minced pickled garlic until it gives a good aroma.
    • Add stock, season with sugar, Knorr Intense Meaty Essence and simmer to reduce. Then add the shrimp and mix together, taste and season as you prefer.
    • Put on a plate, decorate with stir-fried garlic and coriander leaves.
