Mashed potatoes from Knorr ready-made potato flakes

How to prepare

  • Vegetable Oil 10.0 g
  • Unsalted Butter 7.0 g
  • Onion, sliced 25.0 g
  • Garlic, minced 3.0 g
  • Black Pepper, coarsely ground 0.25 g
  • Water 300.0 g
  • Plain Milk 200.0 g
  • Whipping Cream 100.0 ml
  • Unsalted Butter 15.0 ml
  • Parsley, minced for topping
  • Assorted Sausages 4.0 piece
  1. Mashed potatoes from Knorr ready-made potato flakes

    • Heat the water to a boil, add Knorr Potato Flakes and stir until everything is mixed thoroughly with a whisk. Lower the heat to a low setting and cook until the potatoes are soft or for approximately 2-3 minutes. Turn the heat off.
    • Add seasoning or other ingredients to create a different main dish or side dish.
  2. Brown sauce base

    • Melt Knorr Brown Sauce with water in the prepared pot.
    • Bring it to a boil for 1 minute to make gravy.
    • Use it as a gravy or sauce (base gravy sauce) for other dishes such as steak sauce or lasagna sauce.
  3. How to prepare

    • Heat water to a boil and add milk. Mix thoroughly and turn the heat off. Add Knorr brand potato flakes and stir on a low heat setting until it comes to a boil. Mix whip cream with butter and heat it on a low setting until the butter melts completely. Mix thoroughly and pour the mixture onto the mashed potatoes. Season with Knorr Aromat Seasoning Powder according to preference. Set aside.
    • Stir fry onions on medium setting. Add butter followed by garlic and sliced onions, until the onions turn golden brown. Add brown sauce, ground pepper and bring to a boil. Turn the heat off and let it settle.
    • Heat the oil on a medium setting and grill the sausages until they are brown and then place them on the prepared plate along with the mashed potatoes and onion gravy. Sprinkle minced parsley before serving.
