Creamy mushroom sauce

Mashed potatoes from Knorr ready-made mashed potato powder

  1. How to prepare

    • Mix all the meatball ingredients together and mold into bite-size balls. Refrigerate.
    • Heat the pan on a high setting. Add vegetable oil, followed by mushrooms until the mushrooms are cooked and slightly brown. Turn the heat off and add butter. Let it melt with the mushrooms and set aside.
    • Preheat oil and add the meatballs. Cook until they turn crispy. Drain the oil before serving. The dish is best served with mashed potatoes, mixed salad covered with gravy or mushroom sauce on top. Complete the dish by topping with stir-fried mushrooms and minced parsley before serving.
  2. Creamy mushroom sauce

    • Mix Knorr Brown Sauce with water. Stir until mixed thoroughly and heat on the medium setting until it comes to a boil and the sauce becomes concentrated. Set aside.
    • Stir fry onions with butter until the onions turn golden brown. Add champignon mushrooms. Stir fry for a couple of minutes and add red wine. When the sauce becomes concentrated, add the prepared demi-glace. Stir until everything is mixed. Taste and add sugar or salt accordingly.
  3. Mashed potatoes from Knorr ready-made mashed potato powder

    • Heat water to a boil and add Knorr Mashed Potato. Stir together with a whisk until thoroughly mixed and lower the heat to a low setting. Cook until the potatoes are soft for approximately 2-3 minutes. Turn the heat off.
    • Add seasoning or other ingredients to create a different main dish or side dish.
