  • Cold Water 150.0 g
  • Pumpkin Puree 200.0 g

  • Roasted Black Sesame 0.25 cup
  • White Butter, for brushing the bun tin
  • Fresh Milk, for brushing the bread surface

  1. For Black Sesame Pumpkin Bread

    • In a small bowl, mix bread flour and yeast powder. Gently stir until just combined, set aside.
    • Mix together sugar, salt, eggs, unsweetened condensed milk and pumpkin puree. Pour into the mixture prepared in step 1. Using electric dough hook mixer, kneading the dough mixture on medium speed until a dough ball is formed.
    • Add Best Foods Butter Flavoured Margarine. Continue to knead until smooth. Add black sesame and continue to knead until well mixed. Take the dough from the mixer.
    • Shape the dough into a ball. Wrap with plastic. Set aside for 10 minutes.
    • Divide the dough into 100g each. Pat into a ball. Place on a tray greased with white butter. Wait until risen and doubled in size. Lightly brush the bread surface with fresh milk.
    • Bake at 180°C for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Bring the bread from the oven, brush with Best Foods Butter Flavoured Margarine. Remove from the tray. Put aside to cool down.
    • Slice the bread and serve with Best Foods Pandan Custard Flavoured Filling.
