Method

  1. Steps for making traditional beef massaman curry

    • Wash the beef and pat dry. Then season with Knorr Chicken Seasoning Powder. 
    • Put oil in a pan and wait until it is very hot. Add the beef and grill until it is a nice color. Remove and set aside. 
    • In the same pan, add the Massaman curry paste and stir-fry until fragrant. Add the coconut milk, cashew nuts, and all the spices.
    • Season with concentrated tamarind, Knorr brand beef soup, simmer for about 3 hours.
    • Add carrots until cooked, then strain. Separate the meat and soup. Blend the soup until smooth.
  2. Steps for making and serving the rice crackers

    • Heat a pan with oil, stir-fry shallots until cooked, then add basmati rice, cinnamon, cardamom, garam masala powder, mix well.
    • Add clean water, Knorr Chicken Seasoning Powder, Aroysure, then put in a rice cooker, cook until cooked, set aside.
    • Mix some fried shallots with rice, add coriander, and decorate with food coloring.
    • Serve the stewed beef cheeks with smoked rice, sprinkled with green onions, cashew nuts, shallots and carrots, and drizzled with massaman sauce.
