Chocolate mousse

  • Fresh Milk 70.0 g
  • BEST FOODS Chocolate Topping 1.2 kg 220.0 g
  • Whipping Cream 200.0 g

Assemble

  • BEST FOODS Chocolate Topping 1.2 kg 400.0 g
  • Whipping Cream 300.0 g
  • Banana 5.0 item
  1. Sponge cake

    1. Sieve cake flour, Best Foods Baking Powder Double Acting Formula and dark cocoa powder into the mixing bowl. Add sugar, salt, eggs, Ovalet in the mixing bowl. Mix all the ingredients together with the whisk at low speed 1 minutes before switching to high speed for 5 minutes for ingredients to become fluffy
    2. Change to low speed again, add melted Best Foods Butter Flavoured Margarine until smooth
    3. Pour into baking tray then bake at 210 °C for 12 minutes. Cool down on the rack before cutting into pieces
  2. Chocolate mousse

    Mix fresh milk, Best Foods Chocolate Topping whip the cream until medium peaks form. Fold chocolate mixture and whipped cream together until smooth
  3. Assemble

    1. Whip the cream until hard peaks form
    2. Prepare Trifle bowl. Add Best Foods chocolate topping as base, add chocolate mousse layer, banana layer, whipped cream layer and sponge cake layer. Top with Best Foods chocolate topping and whipped cream. Refrigerate until mousse set
